Our client, a prominent fiscal equipment provider in Romania, faced significant profitability issues arising from two primary concerns: the cost of running Google Ads campaigns was eroding their profit margins in the competitive market for fiscal equipment while the leads generated were below expectation.

Analysis & Strategy
The Overchoice: Through our research, we identified an explanation for the low conversion rate. The low conversion rates were attributed to the ‘Overchoice’ phenomenon from behavioral economics. The presentation of seven distinct cash register options on the website overwhelmed visitors, making decision-making challenging due to an abundance of choices.
The Website Solution: To combat the ‘Overchoice’ phenomenon, we proposed creating a landing page, which we would design, and redirecting all Google Ads traffic to it as part of our hypothesis testing.
Instead of presenting seven different cash register options, we streamlined it to just two choices: Portable Cash Register, ideal for businesses on the move, and Standard Cash Register, suited for traditional, stationary setups.
Regarding the landing page, we emphasized that the process of changing cash registers is stress-free for our clients from start to finish.
Google Ads Optimization: With a more focused product offering, we optimized Google Ads campaigns to direct traffic to the new landing page.
Our assumption was correct: The results speak for themselves.
